Fit For Purpose Fitness Education
Fitness industry qualifications are governed by a body called Skills Active. Skills Active produce a syllabus that ensures that all fitness qualifications contain the same knowledge and skill requirement from a learner. Therefore most fitness courses contain virtually identical information in them. The differences between training providers generally comes from how the information is delivered and the quality of the delivery. We believe that our delivery is first class and that our learner support is second-to-none.
How big a training provider is F4T?
Fit4Training take on between 100 and 200 learners each year. We choose not to take on more than this, so that we can guarantee our service level to our learners and so that our learners do not just become 'numbers'.
How good are the tutors at F4T?
We only employ a tutor if we feel they are 100% competent at their job. We also provide lots of training opportunities for our tutors to both better their knowledge and to make them better tutors. All tutors are fun, energetic and truly passionate about fitness.
How much support do I really get on a home study course?
We really do give unlimited support to you 24/7. We are happy to answer calls into the evenings (when many home-study learners are studying) and always answer emails asap. We always get back to people and never leave learners 'hanging on' waiting for an We strongly urge all students to keep in regular contact with their tutor in order to make the most of the support offered.
How good are the F4T resources?
We use Active IQ as our Awarding Body as we believe that they provide the best quality resources for learners that are available currently. If this ever changes, we'll change Awarding Body! All qualifications and there resources are up to date and current.
I've not heard of F4T - How do I know who they are and if they're any good?
Fit4Training are accredited by the Awarding Body Active IQ. Active IQ complete regular checks on us to ensure that what we're delivering is always to the highest standard. We are also accredited by the Register of Exercise Professionals. Lastly, as fitness professionals ourselves we have set ourselves very high standards. If we can't do something brilliantly, then we won't do it!
I live abroad. Can I still do a Fit4Training course?
If you live abroad, you can complete any of our home study courses where all the units are available via e-learning. Please check with us beforehand that all the units within the qualification you want to complete if available via Active IQ Academy.
How long does it take to complete my home-study course?
How long you take to complete your course via home-study completely depends upon how much time you have free to put into it. None of the courses are 'easy' and most will take around the guided learning hours listed to complete unless you already have a great knowledge of the area. As examples of course duration, the quickest we feel you could complete a Level 2 qualification would be 2 weeks, with the average being more like 3 months. At level 3 the duration would be more like 4 weeks to 6 months. We would always recommend that you do not rush through a course just to get your certificate. Fitness roles carry responsibility that you must fully appreciate - take your time on our courses and learn properly!
