This qualification will allow access to Level 4 on REPs if all of the other requirements have been met. You will train to a professionally competent level, enabling you to prescribe, plan, conduct and review programmes to address the needs of patients/clients with low back pain.
Candidates must hold a Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Exercise Referral.

To develop an understanding of medications, psychological/sociological factors and co-morbidities that influence an individual's ability to exercise safely and effectively.

How to report, manage and evaluate client information
Unit 2 – Progressive Exercise Programming for Clients with Low Back Pain
Collecting information and agreeing goals and activities
Designing, recording, preparing and instructing a progressive exercise programme for a client with low back pain
Reviewing a modifying a programme
Practical Observation (via DVD submission)
