Michelle has worked her way through the ranks of the fitness industry since the age of 16. She now has 13 years of industry experience working for various corporate leisure and commercial health clubs.
For the last 10 years Michelle has been involved in teaching and lecturing for various colleges and training providers. Her company, Fit4Training Ltd, has been operating since 2008 and is steadily building a reputation for superb quality delivery.
Michelle's passion is teaching fitness professionals in how to deal with special populations, exercise health & disease and sports injuries. Her aim is to increase the number of exercise referral instructors around the country and to broaden the opportunities available to fitness professionals who deal with these groups on a day to day basis.
There aren't many fitness qualifications that Michelle doesn't have. Quals include an Honours degree in Sport & Exercise Science, Level 3 Personal Trainer and a full Diploma in Sports Therapy. It's fair to say that Michelle is a rare thing - a true academic with a great vocational track record in the fitness industry!
Paul has been working in fitness and sports coaching for 15 years and has been involved in teaching for 10 years.
Paul has a wealth of practical experience ranging from coaching disability groups, all the way through to elite athletes. Previous employers include British Cycling and British Triathlon where Paul worked as a World Class Programme coach. Some big names benefitting from Paul's coaching include Jodie Swallow (2010 70.3 Triathlon World Champion) and Geoff Thomas (ex England footballer who rode the route of the Tour De France after being diagnosed with Leukaemia).
Helping fitness professionals of all levels develop their practical skills and their ability to interact with clients is what drives Paul's teaching. There is never a better satisfaction for Paul than watching someone he has taught prove their new skills on the fitness floor. Educated to degree level with almost every fitness certificate inbetween - There aren't many area's Paul can't help you with.
Joanna is our group exercise queen! She has a wealth of experience in the fitness industry both as an instructor and group exercise manager for a range of leisure and fitness operators. She teaches a wide range of group exercise including aerobics, step, aqua, group cycling, pilates and body conditioning. She is a highly competent, enthusiastic fitness professional and a fantastic, deditcated tutor.
Sarah posseses a BSc(Hons) in Sports Coaching and a Diploma in Sport Massage both completed at University of Wales Institute Cardiff. Her passion is pilates, yoga and sports massage and she owns her own business Supple Fitness.
Sarah has worked for a range of fitness operators both as a fitness instructor and group exercise manager and been a sports massage therapist for the Royal Marine Commandos.
Tom is a shining example of how to progress in the fitness industry. After qualifying in PT and Sports Massage, Tom set about experiencing a range of fitness roles including personal training and sports massage - setting up his own business and gaining a great reputation locally. Tom added qualifications to his CV and began teaching classes for a number of fitness operators.
Tom has also taught fitness to children - working at the prestigious Thomas Telford school for 4 years. Fit4Training spotted his talent as a tutor / assessor of both youth and adult education courses and signed him up to the team in July 2011. Welcome aboard Tom!
