About the Course
This qualification enables you to work as a Pilates teacher in a range of environments including employed studio-based settings as well as self-employment offering group or even 1-2-1 Pilates sessions with clients. Although it incorporates the traditional elements and principles of Pilates, our course takes a modern and holistic research-based approach to improving functional overall health.
This course will equip you with all of the skills and qualifications to establish yourself as a Pilates teacher.
Our flexible courses can be started upon enrolment, so you can get started straight away! This qualification also awards 10 CIMSPA points.

Payment Plan
To make your qualification more affordable, we offer a payment plan where you pay a non-refundable £125 deposit and choose to repay the balance, interest-free over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.

MANDATORY UNITS

3 - Applied anatomy & physiology
4 - Principles of planning and delivering group exercise
5 - Principles and fundamentals of Pilates
6 - Plan and deliver a Pilates session
OPTIONAL UNIT
7 - Anatomy and physiology for exercise and fitness instructors
If you don't have any previous anatomy and physiology knowledge or have not achieved an anatomy & physiology unit within the past 3 years, we will recommend that students complete this optional unit.
ASSESSMENTS
This qualification is assessed with online and written worksheet questions, multiple choice theory exam(s), a 12 week progressive programme, a group Pilates session plan, practical observation and self-evaluation and reflection.
What is the entry requirements for this course?
There are no entry requirements for this course apart from a keen interest in Pilates and experience attendance Pilates classes. Confidence working online and with programmes such as Microsoft word and excel is essential along with a good level of communication.
Study and Assessment Options
The Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Pilates is a LIVE course, which involves both distance learning and attendance to course dates.
This LIVE course includes some distance learning plus six mandatory course attendance dates for practical elements. All assessments can be completed on the course dates, but theory exams can be deferred to a later date if you wish or even completed prior the the course dates should you enrol early enough.
How long does it take to complete the course?
You have up to 12 months from when you enrol, but it is often completed much sooner than that. As long as you complete the distance learning wither before or during the course dates, and you complete the theory exams and practical assessments during the course, you can expect to be complete by the last attendance date (subject to any re-assessments if required).
