The BRAND NEW ultimate personal trainer course that combines the NEW YMCA Awards Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer (Practitioner), to equip you with all of the skills and qualifications to establish yourself as a Personal Trainer.
Check out this Personal Trainer qualification if you already have a Level 2 Gym qualification.
Our flexible courses can be started upon enrolment, so you can get started straight away! This qualification also awards 10 CIMSPA points and 20 REPs points.
Study & Assessment Options
This qualification is offered as an ONLINE course, which you can start studying straight away.
The ONLINE course includes online elearning for all units plus attendance and/or video submission for assessments. We have lots of assessment dates available each month for our online students at our Midlands venue, but it is possible to sit your exams in your workplace should you not be able to attend one of our assessment centres.

YOU MUST HAVE ACCESS TO A FITNESS FACILITY THROUGHOUT YOUR COURSE - check what equipment is required.
At least 3 cardiovascular machines, for example a treadmill, bike (upright/recumbent), crosstrainer and rower.
A range of resistance machines, for example, a leg press, chest press, shoulder press, leg extension, leg curl, seated row, lat pull down.
Free weights - dumbells and barbell
Some functional equipment (at least one) e.g. medicine balls, power bands, resistance bands, VIPRs, kettlebells, battle ropes, slam balls, TRX, BOSU, stability discs etc.

Height and weight measure
Tape measure for anthropometric body measurements
